Jason Correia, Head MMA and Fight Team Trainer, started training in martial arts as a child and continued as an adult, earning his 2nd degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. He trained with several Masters in San Antonio, TX, and Miami, FL, giving him exposure to multiple fighting styles. Jason taught Taekwondo adult sparring classes and Tiny Tigers children’s classes for eight years. As head instructor for the Demo Team, he showcased weapons, board breaking, and sparring techniques throughout San Antonio & the Texas Hill Country.
Jason trained in MMA for four years. He earned a spot on the fight team where he went undefeated. In 2011, Jason trained with UFC veteran Forest Griffin in grappling and Muay Thai.
Jason continued his training in numerous self-defense course techniques for women, children, and weapons. Additionally he worked as a personal trainer at Texas Fitness Center, specializing in strength training and conditioning.

Greta Rodkey, RN, BSN, CPT, earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing with honors from Kent State University. She spent more than 10 years working in emergency departments throughout the country, earning certifications in Emergency Room Nursing (CEN) and Mobile Intensive Care Nursing (MICN). She is also a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC).
Greta has participated in many different types of fitness training. She has trained with multi-sport coaches and personal trainers, competing in various running events, triathlons, multi-sport events and obstacle races before discovering her passion for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). She is a member of the Grind House Fight Team.
Greta is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, earning certifications as a NASM Certified MMA Conditioning Specialist (MMACS), NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) and a NASM Weight Loss Specialist (WLS). She is also a Certified StrikeFit instructor. Greta is eager to help others achieve life-long health and fitness and inspire others to pursue their passion for Mixed Martial Arts.
Devin Cowan, Professional Fighter and member of the Grind House MMA Fight Team, was born in Everett, WA and raised in Moorhead, MN. He started training at age 17 and has 8 years of experience in Mixed Martial Arts. Devin is trained in Kung Fu (Xing Yi), Muay Thai, Submission Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, gaining experience in Fargo, ND, Destin, FL, and San Antonio, TX.
Devin started fighting at age 22. He went undefeated under Grind House MMA with an amateur record of 2-0. He currently has a professional record of 3-2. Devin is continuing his professional fighting career under Grind House MMA, with plans to fight in 2016.
Casey Johnson, member of the Grind House MMA Fight Team, was raised in the small, rural town of Hunt County, Texas. He grew up playing baseball and basketball and received many honors over the years for his outstanding performances. Casey began boxing in 1997 under CJ Duffy in Greenville, TX. It was there that he fell in love with combat sports. Casey trained for several years in both Greenville and Houston. In 2007, he began training in Karate which let to his interest in MMA. His first MMA class was with Rob Stucker (former fighter and owner of Chop Shop MMA) and Angel Dejesus (former fighter and owner of K.O. Empire) and helped build Chop Shop MMA in Greenville, TX. In 2009, Casey moved to Boerne, TX and began training under Jason Correia and quickly found a home at Grind House MMA, making the Fight Team in 2011. He then helped train Devin Cowan for his 2 wins under Grind House and continues to be an important and active part of the Grind House MMA Fight Team.
Casey also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M – Commerce. He holds a Texas Teaching Certification, Texas Principal Certification and a Texas Superintendent’s Certification. He has worked in the education field for the last 13 years as a Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, Instructional Materials District Coordinator, Crime Stoppers Coordinator and CPI Instructor. He is currently the Director of Student Services for the Center Point Independent School District.
Taylor Torisk, Graduated 2009 from Mesa State College in Grand Junction, CO with B.S. in Kinesiology and Sports Management. He attended on dual academic and athletic scholarships. In 2007 and 2008, he was a regional finalist in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for wrestling (R.M.A.C). Taylor was the Texas High School State Champion in 2006 and state runner-up in 2005. He is now a Certified Personal Trainer, Independent Advocare Advisor and will graduate as a Registered Iyengar Yoga teacher in May 2018.
Taylor specializes in wrestling, strength training, yoga, sports performance, weight loss, nutrition, injury rehabilitation, wellness and energy.
